PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

Production Assistant

This position requires a driven, organized and creative and good team work fashion candidate. The individual will be working primarily under the supervision of the Production Manager and Designer. Accessories production responsibilities as well as administrative tasks will be practiced by the candidate. The candidate may also be asked to explore other facets of the company to offer a more diverse experience.

Below are some tasks the production candidate will be expected to assist the Production Manager and Designer in completing their abilities:

Production Responsibilities:

  1. Research current trends and forecasting new product ideas

  2. Assist with product design and pattern management, this includes developments, request from customers and CAD and manipulate current designs

  3. Sketch rough and detailed drawings, determine specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements, Tech pack creation and maintenance

  4. Upkeep and maintain order board, order placed, QC process and cross check with the team.

  5. Manage PP, TOP, production products that arrived in US office cross check with product requested.

  6. Communicate product and design details with the Company’s production team in China, thus includes order placed from US and any developments with such time-frames and priorities

  7. Select materials and production techniques to be used for products

  8. Create color cards including organizing color swatches library and database for availability of the swatches

  9. Prepare and assist samples for meeting, or any requests from customer. Making sure all the samples are recorded, includes formal and informal paperwork

  10. Upkeep and manage showroom to ensure up to date and current to the season

  11. Other duties that is assigned

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare reports, and excel sheet for summarizing the current and upcoming orders

  2. Analyze incoming memos, purchase orders, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution yearly

  3. File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports weekly

  4. Track inventory and oversee shipping, and samples in and out domestic and international

  5. On QC day in China remind them what to be expected of our products and follow up with details

  6. Manage and communicate with the logistic planning with Asia’s office and US office to make sure the good is coming in on-time.

     

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Junior or Senior standing

  2. Ability to work well alone and as part of a team

  3. Ability to communicate effectively

  4. Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects

  5. Ability to follow oral and written instructions

  6. Ability to work creatively and resourcefully

  7. Ability to work with Microsoft Office

Required Skills:

  1. Research skills

  3. An innate sense of style

  4. An eye for color, texture and pattern

  5. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  6. Competent in Microsoft Excel (Preferred)
